Caitlin got her roots in inbound marketing before it got its name. In the 90s, she promoted her independently published magazines through AOL.
While studying writing at Stanford and Sarah Lawrence, she learned to appreciate the way words can help people see the world a bit differently. She spearheaded fundraising for the free speech wing of the American Booksellers Association, built the online presence of the City University of New York’s biography center, and created content for major education publishers.
Caitlin loves lives in Portland, where she and her family enjoy books, biking, and beach trips.
David believes in pursuing growth — personal, professional, and business. After learning digital strategy at GE and cutting his teeth as a CMO in the startup world, David started a couple publications including StaffingHub.org as well as a Growth Engineering Firm, and a Referral Management Platform for Staffing Firms.
This year, his team’s marketing firm won the 2017 HubSpot Impact Award for the Happiest Customers in North America.
David’s pursuit of growth extends to his personal life as well. Outside of work, he runs ultra-marathons, skis, and listens to startup podcasts.
Hilary is a creative thinker who grew up conducting invisible orchestras to film scores and hosting competitive drawing contests. Since retiring from her amateur conducting career, she’s studied music, film, coding, and writing, and also dabbled in every craft under the sun. She holds a BA from Western Michigan University, which is where she developed a passion for writing.
When she’s not busy writing or crafting, you can find Hilary in the violin section of an orchestra, watching true crime documentaries, or hanging out with her beagles.
